(Laval, Canada, September 22, 2022) Jeffrey and Robert Courey have celebrated the successful transition of their 112 year old family-owned and operated linen and textile business, George Courey Inc., from the third to the fourth generation of Courey family ownership.

 

The official reception that took place on September 15th at George Courey Inc. headquarters was attended by government officials from the city of Laval, representatives from the House of Commons, clients and employees. Jeffrey Courey assumed the role of President & CEO in January 2020 after serving as Chief Operating Officer for seven years. Robert Courey was promoted to Vice President in May 2022, having previously served the company in the role of Director of Business Development for more than 16 years.

 

The Covid 19 pandemic did not leave George Courey Inc. indifferent. They became an essential partner of the government in providing and supporting the healthcare industry through the provision of personal protective equipment, amid the massive shortage. George Courey Inc. will pursue its ambition of leadership in the provision of North America’s linens and textile under the stewardship of Jeffrey and Robert Courey.
